This talented musical performer is as famous for her maximalist style as she is for her powerful ballads. With her ornate dresses and expressive wigs, her influence in Motown is indisputable. Another icon, known for her distinct style and fashion sense is actress and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn. These films are noted as historically monumental and references to them are still made in movies and other media formats. Television series like ‘Orange is the new black’, ‘Fleabag’ and ‘Big little lies’ directed by and starring women, bring us entertainment that breaks the boundries of storytelling. ‘Sex and the city’, ‘Clueless’ and ‘Mean girls’ have been named as pop-culture mainstays. They have been influential in every corner of entertainment, fashion and digital culture. As one of the most quotable films of all time, ‘Mean Girls’ is a permanent fixture in digital internet culture with fans repeating lines from specific scenes in relatable scenarios.
